More NYC & Yale

Celia had a typical touristy NY experience, while Jim decided to do it his way... which meant bombing around on his bike, dodging cabs, angry pedestrians and police on horseback who couldn't catch him in Central Park!  Meantime, Celia strolled 5th Ave., Broadway, Central Park, Rockefeller Square and Times Square with her brother.

Even though Jim was so eager to move to Webster St. in Newport, Celia decided this might be nicer digs.  Click on the picture to enlarge.

We didn't have time to post the Yale information which happened before NYC, but what a beautiful campus in New Haven Connecticut.  We happened upon the Freshman Olympic competition taking place in the Old Campus Square.  It was filled with energy, noise and youthful exuberance and I had to drag Jim away from it before he commandeered a jersey to be part of it!
Most of the city centre is taken up with the university campus and the gothic architecture is breathtaking.
